Honoring Native American Veterans

HSU is honored to have played a key role in bringing the Smithsonian National Native American Veterans Memorial to life. This memorial is meant to honor those who devote themselves to defending our nation—many Americans are unaware of the exceptional military service performed by Native Americans.

The Smithsonian Institution selected HSU to construct the new memorial on the grounds of the National Museum of the American Indian at the National Mall. The monument was scheduled for completion in 10 months. Designed and built to last over 100 years, the project required highly skilled specialty trades and rigorous coordination.

Our team's unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence ensured that the memorial was completed on schedule in October 2020. The memorial opened to the public on Veterans Day, November 11, 2020, a testament to the power of teamwork and the enduring spirit of Native American veterans.
