The restoration in this historic building, located at the Nebraska Avenue Complex campus of the Department of Homeland Security, was especially challenging due to the stringent security requirements, its downtown metropolitan location, and working within the parameters of the Historic Register’s Review Board.

The project included the renovation of the entire third floor, totaling more than 13,000 square feet. The scope included demolition, hazardous material abatement, build-back with new installation for architectural systems, suspended ceilings, doors/frames/hardware, flooring surfaces, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and fire sprinklers.
